Conley is expected to join the team as early as the third round.
ESPN reporter Adrian Waznarowski reported on the 19th (Korean time) that he returned to Orlando Bubble after Utah Jazz’s point guard Mike Conley met his family.
Conley’s self-price period, which left the bubble on the 17th, is unlikely to be too long, according to Waznarowski. He added that Conley would join the team as early as Tuesday, when the third playoff game will take place.
Conley, who joined Utah through trade ahead of this season, scored an average of 18.0 points on the bubble to boost his condition. Despite Mitchell’s fantastic performance, Utah lost Game 1 to Denver due to Conley’s departure, which ranked second on average after Donovan Mitchell. The fate of the series could be reversed if Conley is in good shape.
