Boy group THE BOYZ has been selected as the new artist of application Blip for K-pop fandom.
On the 27th, Blip said, “We will support the fan activities of the rising artist THE B.”
Currently, BLIP serves a total of 16 K-pop artists including Kang Daniel, Red Velvet, Mamamoo, Monsta X, BLACKPINK, SHINee, (G)I-DLE, IU, IZ*ONE, SF9, EXO, NCT, ITZY, Jeong Se-woon, Treasure, and TWICE. THE BOYZ is the 17th artist.
According to Blip, the number of members of THE BOYZ’s official fan cafe increased by an average of 1,660 per month before the “Road to Kingdom” broadcast. But since late April, after “Road to Kingdom” first aired, the number of fan cafe members has increased by an average of 7,688 a month. This is a 4.6-fold increase compared to before the show.
Blip said, “As the size of fandom has expanded, we expect good results after this comeback. We will support existing fans and new fans to enjoy this activity,” he said, expressing expectations for his comeback in September.
Through the opening, THE BOYZ’s fandom will be able to see THE BOYZ’s schedule, news, Twitter, data and survey results in one place. It is also expected to serve as a community where The B communicate through topics and collections.
